Oral cancer prevention, detection and referral
The Oral Cancer Learning Hub is a free online resource that supports oral health professionals to identify people at risk, detect cancers of the oral cavity and oropharynx early and refer appropriately. The resource includes evidence-based information, practical resources, referral pathways, patient case studies and a CPD quiz with a personalised learning plan. It aims to enhance oral health professionals’ confidence, knowledge and skills in oral cancer risk and prevention; oral mucosal examination; recognising suspicious lesions; record keeping; and appropriate referral (note that this resource and training is not produced by Cancer Council Victoria and access is via the Oral Cancer Learning Hub).
A certificate for 3 scientific continuing professional development points will be awarded upon passing the quiz.
