Increasing the effectiveness of tobacco tax policy and health warnings

The project aims to estimate the effect of establishing a standard pack/pouch size, ending price discounting, further increasing the price of roll-your-own tobacco relative to ready-made cigarettes and establishing a minimum price for each different product type on the Australian market. It will also provide corrective information on roll-your-own tobacco to help develop more comprehensive health warnings for tobacco products.
