Population surveys for research insights

This research program undertakes population surveys of Victorians on sun protection knowledge, attitudes and behaviours for the SunSmart program.  Results guide the development of public communication messages, identify target audiences and inform program priorities.  Current surveys include the semi-regular Summer Sun Protection Survey (Life in AustraliaTM) designed to collect data on knowledge, attitudes and some behaviours related to sun protection and early detection of skin cancer.
