Lung Cancer Peer Support Groups

Lung Foundation Australia

Lung Foundation Australia's Lung Cancer Peer Support Groups bring people living with lung cancer together to share experiences, insights, offer support for each other and discuss ways to manage challenges. It offers both online support group options, as well as face-to-face support groups in some local areas. Lung Foundation Australia also runs a Peer Connect program, which is a one-on-one telephone-based service that connects people living with lung cancer with a volunteer Primary Peer. This provides an opportunity to connect with someone else living with lung cancer, share experiences with each other, and gain more information about supportive services.
