Variety: The Children's Charity supports kids aged 0 to 17 who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability. Its vision is for all children to attain their full potential, regardless of ability or background, and that no child falls through the gaps. Variety provides support to families and organisations through grants for equipment, educational resources and technology; scholarships to encourage the talents of kids in need; and events to engage and bring joy to children and their families. The not-for-profit organisation also runs the Variety SHINE Program, which sees kids who are struggling at school given access to a team of allied health professionals either through an intensive opportunity over the school holidays, or onsite at their school. It also provides wigs to kids who have lost their hair due to Alopecia or another long-term medical condition that causes hair loss, through its hair donation program Variety Hair with Heart.
