The McGrath Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people affected by breast cancer by raising money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia. McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer by providing physical, psychological and emotional support, from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment. The nurses also provide care and support for early or metastatic breast cancer. Thanks to generous donations from the community, corporate partners and government, the McGrath Foundation's support is completely free and available for anyone with breast cancer, whether a patient is in public or private care. No referral is required and individuals can use McGrath's online map to find their nearest nurse. The organisation also provides breast cancer resources and connections to relevant support services.
