Our LWCEP is delivered by a diverse range of health professionals, including oncology nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, pastoral care workers, radiotherapists and doctors. We train them to be facilitators, provide resources and support, as well as evaluating and coordinating the program.
The course is a nationally accredited, 2-day program that covers group facilitation skills, adult learning techniques, marketing skills, and orients participants to the facilitators' manual and videos. The course provides a chance to network with other professionals who are program providers as well as Cancer Council staff.
